Short description of operation:

The operation concerns the procurement of one (1) Field Hospital, the which can be deployed immediately and quickly to alleviate the consequences at a local and/or regional level, following the occurrence of material damage to buildings and physical injuries to people from seismic activity, flooding or fire and/or exceptional cases of need from the occurrence of large-scale phenomena, such as the Covid-19 pandemic. It is a mobile hospital with the ability to provide healthcare, including the performance of emergency surgeries, as well as the possibility of a short hospitalization time. Its purpose is to provide primary and secondary healthcare to the population of its area of ​​responsibility. It has the ability to be transported and relocated by road, air and sea, as well as the readiness to quickly deploy key departments, so as to receive health losses within a few hours at the final destination – the affected area.
