Short description of operation:
The operation concerns the procurement of special patrol and evacuation vehicles for the Ministry of Protection of the Citizen (with the Hellenic Police as the operating and maintenance body) and for the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy (with the Coast Guard – Hellenic Coast Guard as the operating and maintenance body).
The proposed means will contribute to the reinforcement and renewal of the fleet of the two Ministries and to the improvement of the operational readiness of the Hellenic Police and the Coast Guard – Hellenic Coast Guard, so that they are able to assist in cases of emergency response and management of the consequences of natural and other disasters.
