Short description of operation:

The overall Fire Detection Systems Procurement Operation is included in Action 4 of Axis 2 of the National Civil Protection Programme “AIGIS” and is financed by two sources (ERDF and EIB). It consists of the design, procurement and installation of appropriate fire surveillance, detection and detection systems (of two different types), which will provide coverage in selected intervention areas and will enable the transmission of information to the Unified Coordination Control Center. The detection and warning systems will be of modern technology and will provide the possibility of surveillance of the areas of interest through autonomous monitoring stations equipped with Lidar optical technology sensor systems, a meteorological station, special sensors, telecommunication equipment and high-resolution video image recording systems on a twenty-four-hour basis.

The physical object of this Act, which is part of the Operation, concerns the supply of part of the fire detection and detection systems, as well as the provision of services for receiving all support requests (electronically), identifying and recording operating problems as well as their immediate resolution (helpdesk services), throughout the pilot operation period (duration 5 months).
